I am pretty confident as a brand consultant, and I love all things brand, design and social media related, so when the opportunity presented itself to become involved with Standeazy, a credit card sized phone stand for smartphones, I was of course very keen.
The beginnings are humble and I am learning every day. After the initial brand analysis, market positioning (in theory that is), brand design and implementation it is now up to our small team to build not only the brand but to get the product to market in a meaningful way.
A big part of this is PR and networking. I am trying a little bit every day, so I will attempt to log my dabbling and results/failures to perhaps later look back at with a smile – or to give some novice insight into the volatile workings of PR and social media strategy as experienced by an unconnected – and untrained – enthusiast of a super product that would so deserve to be in every smart phone user’s wallet!
The tag is Standeazy and the category PR – the rest is a learning curve documented alongside the subjects I do have years of experience in.
